- Space to identify what they would be looking forward to back at school (with examples)
Individuals can refer to this social story booklet for information, continued choices, reminders, and as a reference point. Written from the perspective of the individual, centered on their experience, and supports understanding.
While you can use this social story in a variety of ways at home, some suggested uses are included below:
- Teaching about starting routines and preparation for back to school
- Explaining why things are changing now at the end of the summer
- Visual reminders of what will be happening in August/September
- Planning out how they want to prepare for back to school with you
