This resource supports autistic individuals across all ages, depending on their schedule needs. Works best for schedule cards. Inspired by our Executive Director’s time working at Camp Royall, where they use a pocket schedule like this!

In the classroom, you may have a large full-day schedule. But when you're on the go, you do need an individual, portable visual schedule for the student to easily reference and manipulate.

Having a visual schedule like this can help with individuals who need less steps presented to them at a time. A full day may not be the best match for them, in that it is overwhelming, and they may prefer a half-day or a first then instead.

Additionally, we use visual schedules like this as a behavior support tool. It helps us be more proactive as teachers, therapists, and professionals. A lot of frustration can stem from confusion about the lack of clarity around expectations and schedules. Schedules help convey this information and guide the individual throughout the day.

It is also a helpful resource to promote independence over time. Teachers and professionals, include this resource in your toolkit to pass along to parents and families who may benefit from visual schedules at home.
