Valentine's Day This or That | Print + Digital Visual Task Cards

This Valentine’s Day activity is a light and fun game of This or That, designed to support student engagement in February around Valentine’s Day and can be used as a self-advocacy, writing, and/or social skills activity. A little talk about love, but mostly focused on friendships and connecting with others. The game revolves around a series of carefully crafted questions and preference-related options, all tailored to the Valentine’s Day theme.

This or That game description: Given two choices, students will select their preference.

Bonus: Given our reflection worksheets, students can explain their reasoning, share with a partner, and then with the whole group/class. This can be helpful for building students' comfort levels are writing, explaining their reasoning, and even sharing their opinions!
