This visual recipe is for making Arnold Palmer drinks (lemonade + tea). You will find this to be a fun end of the year, ESY, or summer activity for all students to get involved in. It has a short cook time (a few minutes in the microwave) then put it in the fridge for a few hours or overnight, and it's ready to go!
Visual recipes make it easy to teach and practice cooking skills in the classroom and at home. Students can see and observe the transformation from the 2 different liquid mixtures to one mixed one with different layers. Plus, this cooking activity can be a good one to incorporate into end of year/ESY/summer fun!
Visual recipes like these are a helpful tool in breaking down a recipe step-by-step. We include visuals of ingredients and tools needed to complete a recipe.
